‘Forgotten Language Of The Heart’ is a double compilation album featuring original material composed by Asher alongside selected cover versions by artists such as Leonard Cohen, The Stranglers and Bob Dylan. There are covers of ‘Amazing Grace’, ‘Greensleeves’ and ‘The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face’
The original material shows a range of styles including some of Asher’s instrumental ‘New Age’ material and a more recent song entitled ‘The Mystic Garden’ (featured here live)

British born musician Asher Quinn is probably best known for his association with the ‘New Age’ music genre that became massively popular during the 80s & 90s. Since Asher’s debut album ‘Open Secret’ in 1987 he has sold more than half a million albums to a large and dedicated audience, drawing comparisons to musicians and composers such as Peter Gabriel, Phillip Glass, Ennio Morricone and Hans Zimmer
Many of his albums have topped the New Age and ambient charts the world over, and to date he has released more than twenty albums
